Beeches, Laurel and Yew all have tea/coffee making facililties, mini-fridge with fresh milk, clock radio/alarm, large colour TV with built-in video recorder (and a blank tape), towels, toiletries, hairdryer, luggage rack, ironing facilities and lots of tourist information.

Refreshments

Complimentary refreshments available in your room include English and herbal teas, coffee, drinking chocolate and fresh milk. Each room has a mini-fridge containing bottled water, cold drinks, confectionery and bottled beers - these are purely optional extras for which we make a small charge.

Licensed to Serve Alcoholic Refreshments

Bedknobs is licensed so we now able to offer you alcoholic refreshments including Wine, Bottled Beers and Champagne. You are still welcome to enjoy your own refreshments in your room should you wish.

Colour Television

All rooms have a 21" (50cm) colour TV with built-in video recorder with the Video-Plus facility. A blank tape is on hand to record those "not to be missed" programmes whilst out to dinner!

WiFi - Wireless Broadband Internet Access

WiFi access to a broadband internet connection is available for your use during the day at no additional charge. The connection is suitable for email, general browsing of the internet and other low-bandwidth uses. Please advise if you have any specific requirements.

Other Facilities

Other facilities include a clock radio/alarm, luggage rack, generous soft towels and flannels, toiletries (soap/shampoo/conditioner/shower cap), hairdryer, ironing facilities, lots of comprehensive tourist information, a "Restaurant Book" comprising a list of local restaurants and their sample menus all specialising in using our excellent local/seasonal produce.

Heating

All bedrooms and bathrooms are centrally-heated and the temperature of each radiator can be individually controlled by a thermostatic valve. We don‘t turn the heating off in Summer as it can sometimes be nippy in the evenings and first-thing in the mornings, but with thermostatic radiator valves, the choice is yours.

Indoor Footwear

We do ask our guests to bring indoor shoes or slippers to wear as most of our carpets are very light in colour. Thank you for your understanding.

Smoking

Bedknobs has always been strictly a non-smoking establishment indoors, however we do not have a problem if you would like to smoke in the garden.
