Lightning over Bodmin
On Saturday 27th May 2017 just before 01:00am we witnessed the greatest and most spectacular thunderstorm we have ever seen in our lives!
The massive electrical storm had rolled across Europe before it hit the Soutwest with the Met Office recording thousands of lightning strikes. Luckily, Bedknobs was not on the receiving end.
The storm lasted for around 3 hours and slowly drifted northwards towards the coast and then towards Wales.

The photos in the slideshow were taken from half a second of video footage shot from a bedroom window at around 0:55:43 and are approximately 33 thousandths of a second apart.
