Here is a selection of some of our favourite places which can all be reached easily by car. Some we had already discovered during past summer holidays spent in Cornwall, and some we have found since our move here in December 1999. This is only the tip of the iceberg and Cornwall has something to offer everyone, whatever your age and however diverse your interests.

Should your particular passion be "gardens" then you might think you have arrived in heaven! Cornwall is known as "The County of Gardens" and it truly is with more gardens open to the public than any other county in England. We are working our way through them all and are quite sure that our "list of favourites" will grow very, very long over the years!
