Bodmin provides the perfect base whether visiting for business or pleasure. It is situated in the middle of North Cornwall, a short distance from the A30 and A38 main roads and offers easy access to all corners of Cornwall. Although most of the major towns can be reached by train or bus, a car really is essential for exploring those many intriguing places which are "off the beaten track".
Bodmin is equidistant between north and south coasts - 12 miles to each, approximately 25 minutes by car as is the inspirational Eden Project. Lanhydrock House and Gardens, Pencarrow House and Gardens , Cardinham Woods, The Camel Trail and Bodmin Moor, can all be reached in less than 15 minutes.
It is almost impossible to get lost on the way back to Bedknobs, since very many signposts in Cornwall point to Bodmin!
