Cardinham Woods

Wooded valleys with marked trails for walking and cycling

Cardinham Woods have been looked after by the Forestry Commission since 1922 and their attention to the care and maintenance of the woods has ensured that they remain a haven for plant and wildlife.

Situated at the end of the Glynn Valley, the Woods comprise 650 acres and offer a good choice of walks and cycle trails to suit your "energy" levels.

Refreshments are avaiable at Woods Café or you could opt for a BBQ in the picnic area. Please see the link below for opening times and further details about this beautiful spot.

Finally, a big thank-you to Sheila Warring for taking the pictures of Cardinham Woods.
